If you don’t want your trip to be stressful, DON’T BOOK WITH PORTER AIRLINES.

Fyi: My purpose of travel is to attend a US Visa Appointment in Calgary. I just landed in Edmonton since my family is there and we are going to drive from Edmonton to Calgary.

We had a flight with Porter Airlines last March 10, 2024 at Toronto Billy Bishop Airport (Toronto- Ottawa and Ottawa to Edmonton). At first, it was all okay, their crew are all accommodating and nice. However, when it’s time for us to board, they said that are flight is delayed for two hours.

It was fine to us not until we landed to Edmonton, when we were about to get our luggage, our bag was not in there so when I saw one of their crew I asked if where’s our bag and then that’s the only time that she said that our luggage was DELAYED (I don’t get it because you should’ve inform all the passengers that their luggage was delayed, what if I didn’t ask the crew, so I am going to wait for nothing?!).

The crew said that our luggage will be delivered same time the next day, so I put my hotel address in Calgary, since I will be staying there.

The next day (March 11), since we don’t have any clothes, even underwear, we needed to buy some just for the day. We expected that our luggage will arrived that day so we just bought each pair of clothes for me and my girlfriend but guess what? our luggage DID NOT ARRIVE. We started to get anxious since my documents are on my luggage and when we called their customer service, it seems that they were blaming us!!!

March 12: This is the day of our US Visa appointment and we don’t have any toiletries, clothes, socks and even underwear with us, which is so frustrating so we had to buy all of it. so we can have a clothes to wear!!!!! We called the customer service again and the agent named Chris was so rude, we were just trying to get some help but all he does is to be rude us.

March 13 (Our Flight going back to Toronto): We only got our luggage in the day that we were leaving and since we bought some new clothes for us, they did charge again for our bags. Our flight got delayed for 3 hours going to Ottawa and our connecting flight going to Toronto was also delayed for 3 hrs!!!!!!

I cannot put into words the stress and anxiety that Porter Airline gave us. Yes they are cheap but their service is no good at all. I don’t recommend booking in here again. Their customer service is so awful!!!!
