Pavillion Mall is one of the best malls among Pune personally visited few days back. It's well organised and got its class as located next to Marriott. Smaller than Phoenix but it's worth visit and you will find major brands under one roof.
Thali here cost you around 400+ and if you claim for an extra sweet you get charged. Two people can have unlimited for around 1000/-. You get around 4-5 sabji and phulka. Rice, dal etc..samosa, jalebi, kadhi was something different in taste. Quality of food is good though thali sounds expensive.
Ganesh bhel sounds expensive I am not pretty sure if it's the branded one. Anyways we had Shev Puri, Masala Puri and Pani Puri which cost like 140/-. However the taste was good the shev, the Puri and everything that goes in was fresh enough. They serve dosa also don't know why under bhel centre dosa however we didn't try that. The owners are pretty good and polite.
It's simple to land up at a roll joint if you want to have a roll. But when we hit the destination as cafe destination instead of going for their main course with some Chinese as the majority were having. We decided to go for a chicken roll and noodle roll. It took time to be deliver but the wait was wait as this one was huge and a perfect filling for a person. Taste was to the mark.
Hotel Sahil hidden by the lanes of MG Road is a gem of restaurant pocket friendly and good food. This place has got from Biryani's to kebabs to shawarma. They have dining area for family a level above within the restaurant. We had chicken biryani which was simple and best like any other caterer cooks that cost 150/-. Biryani quantity is good for two people. Kerala paratha cost you around 10/- and definitely lot of starters fry and curry to go with it. Two people can have lunch or dinner for around 300/- and that would be sufficient.
