Nice Portuguese restaurant in Newark! We went for lunch and sat inside. There is seating outside under a roof as well. Nice open space layout with the kitchen as well so you can see them cooking! Fresh meats and fish on display as well. We had the Portuguese sausage appetizer and the steamed clams with garlic both were cooked perfectly and very tasty. They also give you bread and olives to start as well. I had the picayune medium rare which was cooked perfectly. Seasoned nicely. And the "lullas" ..whole small squid with spinach and broccolini and potatoes. Also came out perfect. A chocolate mousse and a double espresso.

Plenty of room in this restaurant and nicely decorated. Parking lot outside as well as spots on the street. I would definitely recommend trying this place anytime you're in the area.

This place is a joke. Had a reservation for 10 months in advance. Got to the car rental area to find a huge line which is connected to the Hertz desk as well. You first must get a number at a kiosk which none working there tells you to do then wait until your given number appears on a screen. So after waiting an hour I asked the one person working at the desk on a Saturday afternoon what was going on and she said I was inline on the waiting list which was 9 pages long ....only because it doesn't go higher than 9 to be called. After an hour!! DO NOT USE THIS RENTAL COMPANY IN PORTUGAL! I cancelled my reservation online ...walked over to Sixth car rental and got the same car for less in under 5 minutes. Zero issues. Fast efficient and the most professional staff and service I've ever had in any county. Do yourself a favor and dump called Dollar!

Great "locals" market near the arc de triumph. Not a huge place but had everything you need for a day or a week. Fresh fruits ,meats, cheeses, breads and so on . We had tapas at Cafe Joan. Everything was great and full of flavor. Two of us ate nicely for less than 25$. Definitely recommend trying it out.
