This is a very unique place to visit for everyone visiting or living in Delhi. It's not only deeply connected with our history but rather the culture of our country.
The fort is sprawling on a very large area, largely under military use. Still the smaller part is quite big. Most of the earlier building were destroyed by the Britishers after 1857 revolt. The present buildings are mostly made by the British. There are 4 museums and we can also enjoy light and sound programs in the evening.
There is a restaurant within the fort serving good food items.
