HIDE
2023 Oct 21
Took my Husband here for his 40th Birthday and we had an incredible experience. We spent over three hours here, enjoying the tasting menu, one vegan and one standard, and all the dishes tasted exquisite. Everything was beautifully presented and the timing for the tasting menu was perfect.

The setting and design of the restaurant is beautiful. The staff were all so friendly and attentive.

My only slight disappointment was when I had first booked the restaurant (three weeks prior) the tasting menu was £145 per person, but changed to £160 a few days prior. Plus with the 15% service charge, that increase ended up costing me quite a bit more than initially anticipated, despite me booking at the lower price. I did enquire about this via email but no one replied to me.
This museum is amazing and not just for kids!

The Natural History Museum is free for all, but of course it’s great if you can donate to keep the place going. Exhibitions are at an additional cost.

I always love coming here and feel like a I learn so much. The building is stunning, and it’s even worth walking around and looking at the beautiful ceilings the centre has.

This museum has everything from Dinosaurs, rocks, insects, animals and planets. There are many interactive elements, which is great for kids, but also a lot of in-depth information for adults.

There are quite a few cafes inside to grab something to eat and drink and the pricing is not too outrageous.

I highly recommend everyone visit this museum.
I’ve been coming to this restaurant for years and it has never let me down with either the service or quality and offering of food.

Some of my favourite meals here are the bento boxes, the bibimbaps and the sushi rolls. There is a great variety of food to choose from, and to suit different dietary requirements.

The pricing is also really fair for the quality.
Colosseum

This place is well worth the visit and make sure to book your all inclusive ticket well in advance, which will let you skip with waiting lines, and will also give you access to the Roman Forum.

I would definitely allow yourself at least a couple of hours to walk around the Forum as it is such a vast space with lots to see and do. Your all access tickets will allow you to see the exhibitions inside too.

As for the Colosseum, what an incredible piece of history. Words cannot describe how stunning this structure is. Definitely a highlight of our trip in Rome.
Palermo Cathedral

A beautiful Cathedral that is well worth the visit.

I would also suggest paying the €7 per person to climb to the top to that you can see closer details of the construction and a beautiful view of Palermo / Sicily.

The stairs are quite steep and narrow to the top (narrow winding staircase) but it can be done. We saw an 80 year old lady climb to the top with the help of her family and staff members.
