Rumeli Fortress is an awe-inspiring historical landmark that truly captures the essence of Istanbul's rich past. Perched magnificently on the European side of the Bosphorus, this fortress stands as a testament to Ottoman architectural prowess and strategic brilliance. The sprawling grounds offer breathtaking views of the Bosphorus, creating a picturesque setting to explore the intricate fortification walls and towers. Walking through the fortress feels like stepping back in time, immersing oneself in the history and grandeur of the Ottoman Empire. The informative exhibits and displays within the fortress provide fascinating insights into its significance and historical context. Whether you're a history enthusiast or simply seeking panoramic views of Istanbul, Rumeli Fortress is a must-visit destination that beautifully blends culture, heritage, and stunning vistas
Mosque on the embankment. It looks very textured against the backdrop of the Bosphorus. At sunset it is very crowded, even at the end of November. People stroll around admiring the phenomenal view of the sun setting over Topkapi. In general, I advise you to come here in the evening. Don't forget to bring a camera with a good zoom.

Estatua de Isabel II

A very pleasant square - in the middle is a monument to Isabelle 2. In the 40 degree heat, I was pleased with a fountain with drinking water.
