There seem to be some incredibly old trees here - there is a beech that must be over 150 years old. There is a non native bamboo planting that is nice to walk through, as well. I would be interested in a dendrology tour of this park! Small but fun. In winter you can see a bit of the water off in the distance.

I ride bikes here along the river all the time! It is a pretty quiet spot usually with a couple kids or people fishing. It’s a good spot to take a break when biking along the Charles river path, which can go all the way to Waltham
