Sandy Middlemas

We had a table for 6 in the basement where there are just a few table seating. Most seating and more popular areas were on stools at the bar, but it does not work with a group of 6. This was a first time experience at Barrafina, and the whole group thoroughly enjoyed the food and experience. Service was very attentive as well, topping glass when required. Standard menu and daily specials board. Server happy to explain dishes. Servings are small and for sharing, so for a group, a greater number of dishes are required. We ordered 12 dishes and two bottles of red. Unisex toilets in the basement.

Like all of the MRT stations, they are impeccable, with helpful staff and regular trains. This station has fewer ticket machines but fairly quick at window where we learnt from a nice young man that we can have slightly cheaper elderly tickets. Facilities, fares and trains put our own London underground to shame.
