Decent sized store. Average Bronx store with decent selection and meat butcher section. Slight wait at checkout, but quite normal for the area. Checkout is quick, staff is pleasant and helpful.
Hole in the wall. Identical to every other hole in the wall Chinese place with big double plexiglass with a little foodhole for delivery. Had a table, thank goodness, bit it looked like an afterthought.food was normal.
Phone number on Google is WRONG . On another page (Bronx Job Center #38, the number given is different. There is no attendant. You can leave a message but mailbox is full.
Only way to get a message to them is to go there in person.

I gave it two stars, because who likes a homeless shelter. They take in good food, but rarely serve that. Some of what they serve is OK, and they have lots of doughnuts and pastery leftovers in the morning. One good thing though: I have never seen violence there, and they do keep people with drug addiction and alcoholism out of the sleeping (privilege) areas. This is for everybody's good. But it's still dirty, crowded and - well only for people who have NO other place to go.
It's very pretty. The inside looks like you've been swallowed by a whale. Shops are way too expensive, but they're basically wall dressing, trying to make things look upscale. Otherwise quite pleasant.
