We were a bit late and it was almost closing time at 9pm, but there's quite a bit of interesting things to warrant another trip soon. Christmas lights and trees give it such a festive atmosphere.
I've known Himanshu since well over two decades now, having met him through our mutual interest in Origami. Over this time, he has improved his knowledge, skill and art of Origami by leaps and bounds. He's amazingly creative, and can not only recreate existing, complex models, but also has the ability to make his own original art. He's an Origamist par excellence, and an awesome human being. If you're looking for commissioned Origami sculptures and installations, look no further than Orukami.

This is an amazing maker space, and was on my "to visit" bucket list for a long time. I conducted a day long KiCad EDA boot camp here, and it was great fun teaching. The place has the usual - 3D printers, CNC, laser cutters and stuff. Not as big as I expected it to be. And the membership model is quite different from other maker spaces. If I were living in NYC, I'd definitely be a member at this cool maker space.
