Cool Indian joint in the city. Cool atmosphere. Wonderful staff. Great place for a date night.
Love the goat pao dish - one of the so few places in this country that serves goat - and how delicious they do it.
Other dishes - choley batoorey and chicken tikka - were delicious too. And the gulab jamun was juicy with pistachio sprinkles and raspberry toppings.
The staff remembered the candle on the desert to mark the occasion ;-)

Pizzeria La Candeletta seriously serves the best pizza you will eat for quite a while and most definitely in Alt Stadt if not whole of Dusseldorf and beyond.
The base is crispy thin solid - and best of all its Sourdough!. The toppings are generous. We went for the recommendations - Shrimp/ Prawns (Garnelen) and 4 cheeses. Both were delicious. They know not to add cheese for a seafood pizza (why ruin a good thing when there's shrimp / prawns with cheese!). Prices are reasonable. And the chilly oil was seriously hot (we asked for the more spicy variant)!

Excellent delicious generous servings of noodle salad. Had the Du Du Shrimp and Chicken Breast for lunch. So fresh and really savory chilly paste. Highly recommend it. Staff speak English.
Really friendly staff who run the place. Delicious chicken off the grill. Secret chilly sauce to liven up your winter and simmer.
Lucky to have a really really good Italian restaurant just next to my house. Friendly staff good food. Elaborate wine list. Menu is concise. Staff speak English and are friendly. Only drawback is this venue does not accept credit cards or PayPal or any other means of payment except cash. But the food and customer service being good I would definitely come back.
