Lovely winding path along the river. Pretty flat, so easy to traverse in winter. Nice place to walk the dog close to home. Fairly well travelled though. Too many people for us on a Sunday.

We enjoyed our experience so much at the skytree. Buying your tickets in advance proved to be cheaper and more convenient. I recommend going up just before sunset, so you can see the view in the daylight and dark. We spent a few hours up there wandering around and exploring. I didn't find it too crowded when compared to other places in Toyko. You can see the entire skyline and even Fuji on a clear day. We did some research and did this instead of Tokyo tower - no regrets there.
