Dyckman Marina Ramp
2019 Apr 24
Small L shaped walkway next to a old boat ramp that's now filled in with sand. Quiet and peaceful place to enjoy a morning stroll. Nice views of the Palisades and the George Washington bridge to be had here. There's also a small beach area with some benches. Great spot for hot days. Street vendors are usually nearby during the summer months.
The Dyckman family's homestead. Well preserved and a hidden jewel of the neighborhood. Most pass it by without giving it a glance. I enjoy walking the grounds taking in the flowers and imagining what this area was like in the 1800's. It's such a beautiful house, the interior is just precious. The porches are also lovely.
