Rameshwar Temple

The Rameshwar temple is very old temple in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. It is believed that the temple was built at the initial phase of the Somavamsi dynasty i.e. early part of the 9th Century AD.
The temple is also known as the Mausi Maa temple of Lingaraj Temple(maternal aunt of Lord Lingaraj). It is located from 2 km distance from Lingaraj shrine.
The temple houses a Shiva Linga consecrated within a circular ‘yonipitha’ made of chlorite. There is also an image of the Durga that is worshipped within the sanctum.
It is said that when Lord Ram was returning from Lanka after victory over Ravana, goddess Sita asked to worship Shiva at the site of the temple. To fulfill the wishes of his wife, Lord Ram built the lingam, and hence the name Rameswara has been attached to the this temple.
The main festival celebrated in the Rameshwar Temple is Rukuna Rath Jatra(also called Ashokastami) during the month March/April (8th day on the month of Chaitra).
Timings: 6:30AM to 7:30PM

In front of the temple, on the opposite side of the road are three temples dedicated to the three brothers of Lord Ram, Laxman, Bharat and Shatrughna. These three temples are the oldest temples built in Bhubaneswar in existence today.
The food we've tried here was very good.
Their menu serves variety of food options.
The place is always crowded due to it's food quality and taste.
There is no place for sitting.
Limited space for parking is available.

It's one of the famous malls in Thane. It has most of the top brands stores.
The mall area is always crowded on weekends.
The mall has a food court on the top floor which has different food brands with variety of food options. It is well maintained and clean.
The mall has a multiplexes inside it.
There is always some unique, beautiful decorations according to respective festival/event.
Best option while searching for a pure vegetarian restaurant in this area.
Food was very tasty and with affordable prices.
Service was quick. The staff was good in hospitality.
Ambiance was nice.
They have a separate AC section also but it was congested.
It is one of the oldest existing temples in Bhubaneshwar, the capital city of Odisha. The temple is dedicated to the Lord Shiva.
It is believed to have been built around 650 CE in Nagara style and has all the main features of the pre-10th century Kalinga Architecture style temples. It is one among the Parsurameswara group of temples, located in the same premises of the famous Mukteswara Temple.
One of the major highlights of the temple is it's premises has the one thousand Shivalingas at north-west corner.
The main festival celebrated in the Parsurameswara Temple is Parasumastami during the months June or July.
Timings: 5:00AM to 6:00PM

The other holy places located near this temple such as the Lingaraj Temple, Mukteswara Temple, Rajarani Temple, Kedar Gouri Temple and Ananta Vasudeva Temple. All these temples are also famous for their brilliant architecture.
