I have come here on numerous occasions over the years. I have grabbed a newspaper, bottled water, eggs even in a pinch a couple times. Never had an issue. I stop by today to grab a couple tall boys and the workers up front became a bit erratic. There were a few other people shopping prior to me entering, maybe something was up? Workers up front were looking at the camera system/screen and the female employee even left the front area only to return as I came up front to pay. She did not check my ID (I was purchasing alcohol, although I am obviously well over 21) and spoke to the male employee in her native language, none of which I understood except referencing the word ID. She told me my total was $7 but her register/kiosk said $3 on the screen, which would have made my total $6 as I purchased two cans. I just simply paid her upcharge rather than argue and feed into her ignorance. Poor attitude and conduct. Needless to say, I will absolutely avoid patronizing this community staple when there are other options available. - 0/5 ⭐️'s
Friendly, attentive service at a beyond reasonable rate. Attendant asked when I expected to leave as to park the vehicle for accessibility when departing. Vehicles are secure where they close a roll down gate in the evenings and with noticeable camera/video surveillance. Also note they are cash only. However, they were still able to provide a tangible receipt for record keeping. Will come here again. - 5/5 Stars
Parked here mid-week on a visit to the Brooklyn Museum. Ample parking spaces and expected rates/pricing. Multiple Pay kiosks, one located right near Museum/building entrance from actual parking lot. Attendant at entrance/exit booth & accepts all major credit cards. I didnt need to do laps around the neighborhood, no long walks and playing frogger to cross Eastern Parkway. Worked well for my needs, will patronize again.
Good city owned park, not an actual playground but, please BEWARE that people cut through the attached parking lot from both directions to beat the traffic light at the corner of 14th Avenue @ College Point Boulevard. I witnessed four near accidents between vehicles and pedestrians within an hour time frame here! People speed through and exit through the one way - entrance only and the other way to avoid the intersection light. This parking lot borders College Point Park which has basketball courts, handball courts and a lovely pinic area. Very concerning for the safety of your vehicle, people walking and children at play that may be enjoying the local park!
