An absolute must visit while you’re in New York. They have the freshest and best tasting oyster on the island and the selection to choose from is crazy. The server we had was a lady who had worked there for several years and was able to help us pick which oysters to choose to get a good range of flavours and textures. Service was amazing and was such a coincidence that she had served a famous Korean actor in a show I watched to discover the place. I’ve never had such creamy or sweet or briny oyster before. I went to an oyster bar near the Hudson River later while I was in New York and it wasn’t nearly as good.

My favourite oyster here was the belon Maine oyster. Perfect balance between sweet and salty. Not to mention you can’t really find them sold anywhere in the UK.

I’d recommend you queue before it opens as once it gets busy your oyster order will take longer to arrive as the place is massive.
