Margate Beach Public Boat Ramp. Nice place to launch a boat. Open 24 hours, well lit and has two long horizontal parking spaces at the top for boat trailers. There is also a public toilet nearby. I wouldn't exactly call it world's greatest boat ramp, but hey, it does the job perfectly fine and is generally less busy than others servicing the area.

Nice little park hidden between two streets. It has a BBQ, undercover seating and a shaded playground with sand. Reasonably safe for kids, given the pathway acts as a buffer between the streets and there are cul-de-sacs either end, so not by a busy road.
