My mocktail was one of the best I've ever had, so they have a truly talented bartender. I found the food very hit or miss, in that it was either amazing or just okay, but nothing was bad at all. Service was excellent. Suckling pig was expensive but very very tasty and well prepared.

Tartinery is where it's at. Seems simple enough - juice and cocktails and sweet and savory food items on good quality bread. Simple is difficult to excel at, and they do. I didn't have high expectations for a restaurant in the middle of Grand Central's basement food court. However, I was completely wrong. Service was impeccable, food was terrific, and they accommodated my need to catch a train. While I love to grab a doughnut on my way to a train, if you have a few moments to at least wait for them to prepare your food, I promise it'll be worth it.
