Quattro Canti

The heart of the historic part of Palermo where two major streets cross.

Each corner represents a season, a saint, and a king.
Palermo Cathedral

Not the most impressive cathedral in Sicily, but certainly a cool one to visit and experience for yourself with plenty to offer in terms of art, history, culture and views.

Access to the Cathedral itself is free.

You can pay 7 euro for the ticket that gives you access to the terraces and the crypts. Other ticket options available.

Make sure to arrive an hour before they close if you’re looking to see the view from above at sunset.

Payments accepted with cash or card.

Steep stairs make it nearly impossible for wheelchair access to the top. Watch your head if you’re a tall person!

Tasty food selection with tons of variety and beautifully presented dishes.

Prices are a bit high, but the quality is pretty high as well.

Friendly and efficient service.

Tasty drinks with generous portions, not just a bunch of ice like other restaurants…

Payment accepted by cash or card. Can pay separate.

Handicap friendly and wheelchair accessible.

Indoor and outdoor seating available depending on the season and weather.

Kid friendly options available.

Vegan and vegetarian options are also available.

Parking can be challenging, but very close to Europaplatz tram station and paid parking lots.

Reservations accepted by telephone.

Good Vietnamese food and decent sushi available at fairly reasonable prices.

Vegetarian and vegan options available.

Sadly, the summer rolls do not come with the hoisin or peanut sauce, and they don’t have it if you ask for them. It comes with a sugary fish sauce.

The Pho was good! Could have stronger flavor, but there was plenty of beef and noodles inside.

The sushi portions were on point. Fish to rice ratio ok. Sushi rice was acceptable, unlike most restaurants in Karlsruhe that often tend to overcook it, or underseason it with mirin.

Nice and friendly service but sometimes it takes them a while to cash you out when they get even just a little busy, so be sure to pay once you have ordered all of your items if you’re there for lunch during the work day, or have somewhere else to be.

Payment accepted only in cash.

Easy to get to by the Mathystr tram stop.

Bike parking available.

Small stairs at the entrance, so a bit challenging for wheelchairs without help.

Available for dine in, take out, and delivery.

Nice and chill restaurant where you can grab some a nice Vietnamese food and enjoy a calm conversation.

Spacious, clean, and quiet.

Great service, polite, friendly and professional.

Food was tasty. A bit on the pricy side for Vietnamese food, but at least the portions were somewhat generous. Still, with drink, appetizer and main dish expect to about over 30€ per person.

Cash only.

They did not have Vietnamese beer.

Reservations accepted.
