Similar to other experiences, they required insurance that was about 5 times the cost of the rental. Total scam. I even had a letter from my credit card company showing coverage of collision/theft up to $50k and they would not accept it. This is counter to their own policy posted on the third party booking site. Insurance for 4 days would have been about $4,000 pesos.
I then asked to cancel and get a refund on my card. They said they could not and that I had to request with the third party site.
Don’t waste your time with this place. Probably better to use a more reputable company at the airport.
