We learned our lesson the hard way. It would be better and cheaper to buy the tickets online. In that way we would plan ahead of time the show time. And we would have been able to pick our seats on a map. And all the benefits come with a cheaper ticket price.
If you know the show you want to see and are already in Manhattan, go to the building where the show is run, and buy tickets at their box office. Much cheaper. Now been through this, I see no reason to buy tickets here at all.
