If I could leave a negative number of stars for this review, I would. I visited the store today, and when at the cash and turned to pay for my order, my 3 year old picked up a dirty small black balloon on the ground and put it to his mouth. He was right at my hip and it wasn't as though I wasn't keeping watch of him. The cashier says in a snotty tone - "ugghhh you'll have to pay for that, because we can't sell it." I responded- he just picked up a dirty balloon lying on the ground here. They proceeded to ring up the one balloon to my order and said "it's only 50 cents, it's not a big deal"!!! I couldn't believe it. I should have walked out immediately and left any purchases and not sure why I didn't. At the cash there were no other balloons to select/buy and there was other garbage on the ground. If the cashier had of approached it differently with response and tone, I wouldn't have cared at all because its possibly true that it couldnt be used - even though it seemed like a single balloon that would have helium added! But it was the principle. Very clear this person doesn't have any children or an inkling of what it's like to take small children to a store. Truly pathetic behaviour, and I will be certain to never visit this store ever again. It's not the first time I have experienced such poor customer service at this store - there were 2 other times. It won't be hard to never darken your doorstep again, as your products are overpriced and you didn't have what I needed either.
