This was my second time staying here.
It’s in a great location. The rooms are updated. As a cleaner myself, I noticed a lot of details were not cleaned, but I’m pretty particular about cleanliness.
The pool is really nice. It’s starting to be in need of repairs though, all of the walls are cracking.
My first stay here was much better because the lobby wasn’t under construction. I really wish I had of known prior to booking that it was under construction. We arrived early and expected to wait in the lobby, but there’s hardly anywhere to wait anymore due to the construction. I probably would have stayed at the Double Tree instead.
As an honours member they did accommodate an early check in with a complimentary room upgrade. Very appreciated!
Elevators are a pain, but I find this to be a commonality in Hilton Hotels. The staff did not make us aware that you must scan your room card in the elevators after hours. We couldn’t figure out why we couldn’t get upstairs. It was not like this when I last visited, so I wasn’t aware of this.
