What an absolutely lovely surprise this spot is!!! I don't make it up here much anymore, and for a coffee (or an early drink on a rainy miserable day), Red Eye is a literal shining light nestled beside Port Authority. Located inside a historic, bright red building, the area is odd but once you are inside it's like stepping through a portal. Safe, fun, highly caffenated; I can't wait to be back!

I can't understand why there are so many poor ratings for this branch. I have been banking here for 5 years and now go in regularly with a toddler and both the security and staff are always pleasant, quick and knowledgeable. The only drawback of this location is, after hours, there tends to be people sleeping, smoking, and drinking in the ATM lobby. So always use caution when handling money out in the open. That said, I have never had a threatening experience in that lobby, even after hours. Just try not to walk past the 7-eleven around the corner when you leave because that place DOES get rowdy.

It's probably pretty nice when is completely open, but when I finally made a trip over, it's half closed off for construction. And from what I could tell, MOST of the interactive playset is closed off. Nice sprinkler area though.
