Always a nice stop to stretch our legs after a long drive.
Well landscaped with boulders and native vegetation.
Points deducted for planting trees in front of the view.
A path runs along the tree lined Aldgate Creek and across it on a pedestrian bridge.
Vehicle access is from Shanks Road.
When the Torrens Lake was drained, First Creek started to fill it up immediately, there is a spring just behind the walking bridge.
This botanic park is still work in progress, new planting supplementing old pine and Morton Bay figs.
The large flying fox colony makes a lot of noise and can stink on a warm day.

It is worth visiting for what's left of the historic interior after the mall upgrade. If you shop or eat there, that's a bonus.
