Megh Deb

Adyapeath is another Hindu Temple which was built in 1967. It was originally founded back in 1915 by the followers of Annada Charan Bhattacharya – a great devotee of Maa Kali and Sri Ramkrishna. Adya Maa being a Divine form of Maa Kali the temple has great religious significance. The main altar of the temple has three sub-altars. The bottom has the statue of Sri Ramkrishna, the middle has Maa Adya and the top altar displays Radha and Krishna.

Very crowded place. Low area but contains a huge number of stocks. On the ground floor you can get to the textile centre and on the first floor there is a grocery and appliances zone. The groceries are very beautifully maintained and fresh. But the prices of the appliances are very high. But the stock of the garments zone is very huge and pocket friendly. In a nutshell it is a good place for shopping daily goods and clothes.
