I’ve been going for a year. However, I’d booked for 3 people for a 2 hour massage this week. In fact, I’d booked and paid a deposit more than 48 hours prior to the massage yet they told me 30 minutes before our appointment that their address has changed from Cilandak to Pondok Indah. It’s absurd that such an important piece of information wasn’t mentioned to customers.
Secondly, the move was done so haphazardly. The toilet was filthy. There wasn’t any place to wash our hands. Some men including a so called manager were having their dinner while talking loudly in the room next door.
Thirdly, we were taken to a room where the new mattresses were uncomfortable and hard, placed right under the freezing air conditioning. Despite several attempts telling the masseuse (just inform the manager ya), nothing was done other than shifting the temperature up 1 degree and turning off for a short while. Being blasted by freezing a/c for 2 hours lying on a hard mattress is not what I call a tranquil experience.
When I informed the staff of our experience (staff asked “bu, please provide feedback”), they mentioned they’ll replace my session with another for free. I’ve told them that if they took this seriously, they’ll put it in writing via WhatsApp so that there’s a record of it. I wasn’t surprised nothing has come through. Lip service and nothing more.
