We wanted to come here specifically for the Ma Po Tofu since few restaurants actually carry this in the tri-state area. The restaurant was well-decorated and clean, with plenty of tables for families or larger parties. Our waiter was extremely friendly and attentive and stopped by multiple times to top off our water and ask how everything tasted. The food itself was quite good and came in a larger bowl. Asian Place is quite a bit more expensive than your average restaurant, with most entrees being $13.95 or more. I do think the portion sizes and aesthetic of the restaurant warrant the higher price, but with that in mind it probably wouldn't be the top choice for your weekly Asian cuisine fix.
We chose to eat here to celebrate my birthday after being turned away from the nearby Thai Taste (lack of servers). It ended up being a nice turn of events! Service was fast, the waitress was so sweet, and we were greeted immediately upon entering by a cook with an epic manbun. The food was good; Skyline continues to have options for those with dietary restrictions. The black beans and rice is delicious and suitable for vegans, while my husband got a Greek salad that was packed with toppings (he eats gluten-free). Our guest had more regular menu items but loved the black beans and rice so much he might get that instead next time. All this for about $20. Not bad!
It's been a long time since we went to Skyline so this was a nice boost to their image for us. I definitely recommend this location.
