I have visited here every time I have come to Portland and I do not thing that would change anytime soon. Food is consistent in taste and portion, service is always great and there is always a wait but it is worth it. Location is perfect and there is ample parking.
This is one of my favorite places to visit in Portland. My group had an amazing time talking to Steven, and you can tell he is passionate about his craft. We spent at least an hour here, and he walked us through the history of women in puppet form. You learn how to work with the puppets and have a chance to buy your own. The exhibit changes, so even if you have been in the past, try to go again and see if there is a new exhibit. They do shows here as well!
I would say come for the puppets, but go just to experience the place with Steven. Next time you are in the area, stop by and don't forget to make a donation. I only took a few pictures so you will be surprised when you visit. I will be returning for sure.

We came for our anniversary dinner on a Friday night and the outside of the building does not give this place justice. The hostess put little paper hearts on the table, which added a little extra romance to the candlelight dinner. Everything I tried was delicious! I loved the lobster bisque ($12 and a huge portion) and the lamb chops. The Caesar salad ($11) was great as well, but the portion seemed small, it was about five leaves of romaine. I'm not sure if there was bread for the table, as we did not get any but saw a few tables with it, but we left full either way. There wasn't a huge selection of cocktails, and most came with pineapple juice--I'm not a fan personally--but the Clarita's Margarita ($13) was a beautiful blue with a good amount of alcohol. There was entertainment alternating of live band and songs over the speakers playing throughout the night. We even received a complimentary dessert of a slice of chocolate cake and one slice of cheesecake. I really felt special my whole time here. Our server Rey knew the menu well and checked on us frequently. There is a dress code here, so take note before you arrive in jeans or sneakers. We ordered one soup, one salad, two entrees, and one drink and paid $175 before tip. I would recommend trying it out for a special occasion.
It's great that they let you taste the flavors and they have a cute 24 oz bottle you can get for $20 and you can get refills for life (or until the sticker comes off) for $14. They offer 3 sizes, so you could get the jug for $25 I think and out it in the freezer at home. Not the best daiquiris I have ever had, but really good and a decent amount of alcohol in them. The service was also great! My one downside is that it melts really quick unfortunately. It is Texas and it was in the 80s the night we went, but we parked close to boozy and got a drink, walked to emporium pies then back to the car and it was mostly liquid with a little iceberg of ice haha. I put it in the freezer overnight and the next day it was frozen solid! I just put a little juice in it and worked it around to make a sushi consistency, but even inside in the AC it was melted back to liquid in about 15 minutes. It's delicious and cute for pictures but drink it fast!
