Well presented museum with English signage. Many interactive displays, all in working order (kind of uncommon in smaller museums, sadly). €4 entrance fee. Spent probably 90 minutes there. Pairs nicely with a visit to one of Cantabria's cave sites.

If you like poking around in fancy houses, don't miss this place. It is filled with lovely furnishings and great art. It's free so I can't complain too much. Just wish there were a bit more signage or a pamphlet or something to give a little context/history/significance to what is there. There is an electronic placard in each room, but was difficult to read when other people huddled around it. If in the area stop in. It is a quick visit.
