Comac Ahern (LLJ)

This is a great place fir pub grub and a beer. I recommend the wings for starters and the fish and chips but all of the menu looks good. The staff are helpful, friendly and efficient. They have a great range of beers wines. Apparently the chardonnay is very good. The atmosphere is lively and they often have music at the weekends.

Naas park is a great amenity for the residents of Monread and beyond. It is quite large and provides a green source throughout most of Monread.
Of particular note is the kids playground which I'd great for under 10s. There are several football pitches and these are busy at the weekends and evening time.
Several paths criss-cross the park making it ideal for walking and jogging. If you want a coffee then drop in to Siblings on the Monread Avenue side.

As Italian chippers go the Capri grill is great. It has got great fish, chips, burgers, pizza, kebabs and lots more and all served with a smile. Located in poplar square it is ready to get too. Open till late.

This is probably the best restaurant in Naas. The beef duo is highly recommended but the rest of the menu is also excellent. It is worth booking ahead as it is generally busy. Also it is just upstairs from Kavanagh's pub making it a great location for s night out in Naas.
