Good takeout! The poke bowl was a pretty good size. The karaage didn’t come with any sauce which was a bit of a bummer, but I added some honey and soy sauce at home. The thai iced tea was standard. I’d order again.

good!! I was passing through town and I had a craaavvviiinnggggg for aguachiles without having to go all the way to El Paso. The aguachiles I got were very good, but with the red sauce instead of the green that I’d ordered over the phone :( I also had the melon aguas frescas which was good.

I walked in here for lunch with zero expectations. It was okay! I had a typical 3-course with soup, meat, and dessert. Nothing wowed me but the food was good for a cheap lunch.

I might adjust my rating on a later visit. Everything was tasty, and the ambiance/decor was immaculate, but the prices were a bit high for what it was in my opinion.

We can for happy hour ($12 cocktails down from $18), and the drinks were a bit small. Still very good! And the theatrics was something you don’t see everywhere. The small bites were exactly that… small. When that little eggplant cone came out 😭 for $5 I was not expecting something so small. What I really enjoyed was the theming. There are pigs literally everywhere, even the bill comes out in this little piggy banks and each has a name. I think this place would be nice to have a drink, maybe a bite, then shift to another location. I’ll be back!!!

For drinks we had the anvil sour and the gopalito. Both very good. I was not wowed, but I’d order them again. 10/10. We also had the molletr frito con pancetta and it was reallllyyyy good. $9 is steep for what was essentially a slider, but the flavor was 10/10 and I would definitely eat it again. The croqueta duo was also very good. 9/10.

We interacted with Emmanuel and Rogelio. So sweet. PAY THEM MORE!!!

I have been to BW two times, once for an event tasting and once for a birthday brunch. Both were excellent, and I think you should go! The food and drinks are amazing, and the staff is super friendly. My rating is mostly the result of poor handling of a refund. A guest in my party ordered one mimosa and was mistakenly charged $40 for bottomless mimosas. She drank that singular mimosa the entire meal. When we attempted to rectify this with the restaurant, they claimed to have processed a $52 refund. After waiting 10 days for the refund, and having our calls ignored and emails bounce back, we decided to call it quits. That was incredibly disappointing because the food/dining experience was easily 5 out of 5.

I am an honest reviewer so I will let y'all know about the food CUS IT WAS GOOD!! We had the vegan and regular burgers, the chicken & waffles, eggs, salad, some champagne on the house, and a few cocktails. All 10 out of 10. My favorite burger in Chicago is at Union in Logan Square, but this was a close second. So rich and flavorful. My friend gobbled up their birthday dessert and allegedly it was delicious. 😂

I'd highly recommend the food/ambience, but this refund issue left a sour taste in my group's mouth. Make sure to check your final bill carefully for discrepancies. We are not sure if we'd return.
