I like this place a lot. I came here in 2016 for the first time and returned ever since. The Sunday brunch is great. It used to be even bigger than today but it’s still top. Only thing I miss in comparison to a la card: it lacks a bit of spicyness. Which I guess because it has to cater different tastes.

The view up here is amazing. You have a wonderful view over Benjakitti and Lumphini. Service is superb. Very attentive and professional. The brunch however is very pricey. We paid 3k for two people. I personally cannot eat that much. So next time a la card 😅

Beautiful (expensive) place by the river.

You can have some wine here and enjoy the view. Or try some of their Thai classics in a very professional yet relaxed atmosphere. What ever it is: if you don’t mind to pay a big extra for the setting you will enjoy it.

You have an amazing view of the river area and get a super beautiful sunset if it’s not cloudy or too polluted.
Cute little park on the Chulalongkorn university campus. Very quiet and chill. It’s not very big but a nice hangout for university students.

The park is connected to Banthat road. So there is plenty of food and coffee shops around.

There’s also a small open community mall in that park, where students sit and read or chill over coffee.
The old Bangkok airport. First one in Thailand. It was closed for a whole when Suvarnabhumi was build. But the city realized quick that it’s good to have two big airports.

The design is slightly old fashioned but very customer friendly. For domestic flights this airport is 100 times better than Suvarnabhumi. While after security check at Suvarnabhumi you don’t find ANY shops you find everything at Don Mueang. Fast food, local food, grocery shops, shopping malls, pharmacies and coffee shops. You can even get a massage.

I usually only go here for the weekly trivia. But it’s also a nice chill pub for a couple of beers. Their food is classic pub food plus Thai staple dishes. They have a great beer selection and Happy Hour before 7pm.

Every Wednesday they hold a trivia. It’s getting packed: so better book a table. It’s always fun. Great manager, great host and great service.
