We came here for a photo shoot. Our photographer was so wonderful and paid the entrance. It is such a beautiful location. We even saw dolphins! They have restrooms, and they also have showers where you could rinse off. What a wonderful place for a photo session and also to hang out in the ocean.
Did delivery and it was delicious and fresh! Had the taco plate and a kids burrito plate. Don’t forget the bottle coke.
This place is very dark. I saw a lot of images that I did not agree with. They looked like they were worshiping evil. Rather scary honestly. There also was just some very dark environment and it is not kid friendly. Definitely not a place for kids. I feel like you needed to be on drugs. There really wasn’t any explanation as to what this place was. But if this is considered art. I don’t want anything to do with it or my family. I would never step foot back in here again. You have to pay $16 for parking in the parking lot and then you have to pay $40-$35 if you’re a resident and five dollars less for kids. They don’t even have a nursing area for mothers so women are breast-feeding in the bathroom!! oh, and you have to leave your stroller outside. I don’t know what this places is but it’s definitely is not a good one!! Don’t waste your money!!
This place is so beautiful. I bring friends from out of town all the time even if they’re not Catholic. You most likely won’t get service up there. But the drive is amazing and it’s super close to Denver. If you would like to buy a candle that you can light in the chapel, you do need to go inside of the Gift shop. The candles are five dollars for a smaller one. You can also pay a dollar to light a tea light candle inside the chapel as well. But the chapel is down below by the entry to the stairs of the statue.
They are currently doing construction but there are no issues getting into the building. During the week there’s only one staff working and during the weekend there’s a couple more which makes it faster. We definitely recommend buying a candle and then going and lighting in the chapel. There’s so many things to see. If you’re willing to do the stairs it’s definitely a hike, you want to make sure that you take some water with you and wear good shoes. But the view is amazing. And of course, the statue at the top is worth it as well. This is just one of those places that you have to come and see there’s nothing that can describe in words. A little piece of Heaven on heart.

Stopped by after an appointment. I was super excited to get the super burrito with sausage, cheese, and Chile. I used to come here years ago when I worked downtown. The staff is friendly and the location is nice. But the food was bland. It tasted like meat and cheese. The chile had no flavor. I was super disappointed. I hope to go back and get a better burrito.
