My partner and I are moving to the Amsterdam area soon. We knew that the housing situation there is very strained, and that it can be tough to get an apartment. In the end, we found a nice place in Amstelveen with the help of Amsterdam Housing.
The experience was only positive, from start to finish: First, the process was relatively uncomplicated. Compared to other rental agencies in and around Amsterdam, the amount of necessary documents and information was sensible and easy to provide. Second, the brokers were very communicative and pleasant along the way. This is a huge plus - other rental agencies do not react to any communication attempts at all. As a result, we felt very well guided and supported. Big thanks to Lilian and the others, who provided helpful information and impressions of the apartment!
