Beautiful clean park in the edge of a Clift overlooking the ocean. Surprisingly quiet and serene. Mall located underneath and snacks sold in small carts.

Great food and service. Its located on an area where places like La Mar take all the glory but this place is amazing. It has been in business a long time and mostly locals visit. However, they get their fair share of tourist so the service is definitely top notch. The seating is comfortable, the bathrooms are clean, and the ceilings are sky high with open vents adding to the atmosphere. Can't say enough good things. The only minor negative were the picarones. Be aware that this dessert is best had from street corners and fresh. We ordered it there and it was mediocre. So it's your first time having these in Peru, go to the ladies in the street. But otherwise everything was amazing. Will definitely go back.

The center of Lima is often skipped by most tourist but this park is beautiful. It's not touristy at all and you can get there easily riding the "metro" which is not a train or subway. It's the only government operated bus line. Very easy just grab it to "estación central" and you are right there. We saw a few interesting birds including a huge group of green and yellow birds that looked like they should be in a jungle. There was also a great market that is promoting bio diversity and clean agriculture with added ancestral customs. You can buy directly from the grower and all stamped so you can take it to the US or Europe. We had a great time and felt very safe.

Amazing hidden gem. Very low intensity hikes for rest days or great for trail running. Minimal climbs and we'll marked. The trails are very well kept. Zero hikers encountered. Only one recommendation is to bring bright color clothing because it is also hunting grounds.
