Lovely little spot. Friendly staff and good coffee. Pro tip 1: didn't see a card machine so may be cash only. Pro tip 2: the outside seating is in the shade first thing until the sun has swung around (I'd guess around 10am, or so)...
A great little car park; normally I wouldn’t wax lyrical about such things, but it’s a really handy place to stop if you’re planning a walk, or bike ride, in the dales and don’t want to be stiffed by the parking charges in Hawes. Yes, it’s a little bit bijou, but that’s fine by me - just make sure you get there early enough to find a space!
One thing - although the parking is, nominally, free, there is an honesty box. I made sure that I put some money in it - please make sure you do too, otherwise this facility will be taken over by those for whom profit is much more important than convenience and we’ll all be worse off...
