Hidden gem serving yummy authentic Vietnamese food in North York!! Well known for their “beef 7 styles”, you can even customize which beef dishes you want (I absolutely love the raw beef slices and the beef wrapped in betel leaves).
Made to order and refreshingly tasty dishes for a nice lunch that won’t leave you feeling tired and sleepy afterwards! Service is amazing, super friendly and quick.
The only downside is all the construction happening on finch, but if you take the backroads and you’ll be fine. I highly recommend!!

I was shocked to find the interior quiet nice and modern since the exterior looks a bit run down. Street parking on Yonge is available - if you’re lucky.
I actually really enjoyed the food 5/5. Everything was delicious. We ordered a variety of rolls, tempura, gyoza (5 pieces for $10) and chicken teriyaki ($30). It was pretty pricy.
Service was good for the most part until I ordered a cocktail for myself and the waitress asked EVERYONE at our table to see their ID. Apparently they don’t serve alcohol unless EVERYONE at your table is over age, even if they aren’t the ones drinking. I asked “so because we have minors at the table, you are refusing to serve me ONE drink?” The waitress then said she needed to get manager approval in order to serve me the overpriced beverage.
As someone who is smart serve certified and worked in restaurants for years, this was a little bizarre and annoying. This encounter left a bitter taste in my mouth.
Starbucks prices $$$ for McDonald’s service.

First time trying Armenian Cuisine - it did not disappoint! The exterior is nothing special, you would probably miss it or just keep walking by if you didn’t know this hidden gem existed.
The service was very friendly and attentive with an atmosphere that created a mix of casual / fine dining. The restaurant is small but they do have a private room for larger parties.
We ordered a few items off the menu, all were quite delicious. First came the complimentary warmed bread and pickled cabbage (questionable). Then they brought out the salad, which was very fresh, and fried potatoes- delicious! Mains were cooked perfectly and flavourful. Portions are large and very filling. We ordered the beef kebabs and shared it between 2 people.
Overall, food was delicious and service was great. Definitely recommend and will be back!
