Everything delicious at Nini. An Asian (kosher) jewel that's affordable and gives you plenty to eat. The noodle dishes are sumptuous and filling. The staff is super nice and pro-actively helpful. There's a nice mixed crowd of young and old.
You need to know a bit about the importance of this magical place within Jewish history. The Rabonim (Rabbis) and other important scholars that are buried here have been astoundingly important in their contributions to Jewish learning. That makes this a holy place.
Hard to review a shul of this importance. I davened here on erev shabbes (minyan) and the next morning (just 4 people). This was mid-December. The snow fall turned this into an even more magical place than it already is. It's small and somewhat somber. But just think how many Gaoniem (Very Learned Rabbis) it produced over the last centuries. The cemetery is magical, even though it's restored with kindness. This is a once in a lifetime destination. Make sure you find a quiet moment to reflect.
