Made an appointment for a consultation because I wanted to price it out and see what I wanted to get done exactly before booking. The salon called me and said they could book an appt for right after. I said sure. They then called me again and said I needed to put a card on file to hold the appt which I declined to do because I really just wanted to do the consultation. Did the appt with Mia who was super nice and I don’t think its her fault but more so the salon’s. When she told me how much it would be it was twice as expensive as I was expecting. I told her I couldn’t do that right now and that it was double what I had ever paid to get my hair done (I have always gone to higher end salons in major cities). I was told I had to do something because I made the appt. So I got pressured into doing something else that was not what I wanted. $370 later and I have some stripey highlights instead of the rooted balayage I was asking for.
