Coffee Island

The people running this place know their coffee and are willing to advise on the type of coffee and apparatus is most appropriate. Needless to say they make excellent coffee and sell a wide variety of blends and single-source coffee of all kinds. They will grind it depending on use (differently, for example, depending on whether one will make esspresso or filter - even differently depending on the type of filter one uses). They also sell lots of nifty coffee paraphernalia. One that I consider essential for coffee connoisseurs is the Tightvac which stores the coffee in an airtight container and keeps it quite fresh for a long time. Another innovation which sets them apart is a decaffeination method using CO2 which leaves taste intact while purportedly removing caffeine without the chemical impact of usual methods. A place every aspiring home barista or demanding coffee drinker should visit!
