Putting on a convention in the Capital area?? This is the place to do it! The facilities are great and the sky is the limit for the kinds of corporate parties you can throw. The function rooms on the first level can change size with fold out full-height walls. A/V and multimedia services are available. The second floor has some great spaces with ultra high ceilings, directly addressable matrix LED lighting, making it possible to display color patterns and simple shapes. There is a lot of back of house space for staging room changes throughout a day.
This is mostly trails through Country Knolls. They go behind people's houses and are uncomfortably close to where families with children are. People who have a small amount of forest equivalent in most places to a 40 or 50 foot wide swath of trees with a trickling stream bed going through it aren't pleased to have strangers walking through their back yards where their children are. So don't be surprised if the Sheriff is called if you plan to hike these areas. They are in many places impassable without going on to home owners' properties to get around muddy areas. If you want to hike an actual nature preserve in Clifton Park, consider the area around Vishers Ferry.
