Cafe Pushkin
2024 Jun 20
We visited Pushkin for dessert after hearing great reviews about their honey cake, and I must say it lives up to the hype with a perfect score of 10/10.

The Napoleon cake was just okay. It might have been overshadowed by the excellence of the honey cake, so I’d rate it 6/10.

The cappuccino was fine, deserving a 7/10.

The ambiance of Pushkin is very nice and vintage, offering a historical and original vibe. It's definitely worth trying at least once.

Additionally, the staff were professional and friendly, enhancing the overall experience.
Moskovskiy Zoo
2024 Jun 28
We recently visited the Moscow Zoo, and while it was a pleasant experience, it felt quite basic, similar to the Old Zoo Park in Dubai. Here are a few things to keep in mind:

- Timing Matters: It's better to visit on a weekday. We went on a weekend, and it was extremely busy and crowded. We had to wait in line for tickets and at the entrance for 45 minutes. The crowd inside made it difficult for the kids to see many animals.

- Language Barrier: The staff do not speak English, so it's helpful to have a translation app ready.

- Ticket Requirements: Every person, including children under two, must have a ticket. We had to go back and get two more tickets because the staff didn't understand us, even with the help of Google Translate. Make sure everyone, including babies, has a ticket.

- Play ground: at the end of the zoo, they have a kids play area which is less busy and the kids enjoyed playing there.

Personally, I wouldn't visit this zoo again, but if you have kids, it's worth going at least once for them to enjoy the weather. Just avoid weekends if possible.
ABC Coffee Roasters
2024 Jun 22
We visited ABC for breakfast two days in a row, and their breakfast and café style reminded us of what we have in the UAE. It was also the first time in Russia that I tasted specialty coffee.

One waiter spoke Arabic and English, which was very helpful.

The atmosphere is reminiscent of Arabica, with a fresh and modern cemented style.

On our first visit, a weekday, the place was not crowded at all, allowing us to relax and unwind. However, on the second day, which was the weekend, it was very crowded, and we had to wait about 15 minutes for a table.
