I recently visited Adaya Thai in Rhodes and ordered the plum duck, Thai basil rice, and Penang curry chicken. The food was exceptional, with just the right amount of heat for those who enjoy a bit of chilli without it being overwhelming.
However, the experience wasn’t flawless. The rice wasn’t served with the curry, so I had to order a small bowl of steamed rice separately to avoid letting the curry go cold.
Despite this, the meal was delightful. The basil rice, which included prawns, was delicious, with the prawns perfectly cooked—not dry at all. The plum duck was a standout, with a slightly oily drizzle that was incredibly moorish.
The restaurant itself is well laid out, with enough space between tables, which keeps the noise level down—a pleasant change from more cramped dining experiences.
I would recommend Adaya Thai to anyone looking to try exceptionally good quality Thai food.
