Scott's Run Nature Preserve is a real treasure in Northern Virginia, perfect for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and connect with nature. The hiking trails are in great condition and offer stunning views of the Potomac River and surrounding forest. However, it's important to note that this preserve is not suitable for picnics, swimming, or any kind of partying. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times, and alcohol beverages are strictly prohibited.
That being said, the hiking trails at Scott's Run Nature Preserve are a great way to get some exercise while enjoying the beauty of nature. The trails are well-marked and offer a variety of difficulty levels, ensuring that there's something for everyone. The waterfall is definitely a must-see and provides a picturesque backdrop for photos.
It's worth mentioning that visitors are expected to carry out any trash they bring in. So please remember to pack out what you pack in to help keep the preserve clean and pristine for future visitors.
Overall, I highly recommend checking out Scott's Run Nature Preserve. It's a great place to explore and appreciate the beauty of nature.

The Weverton Cliffs trail is well-known and is a part of the Appalachian mountain trail. There is a parking lot that can accommodate up to 30 cars, but visitors can also find street parking on the other side of the bridge.
The hike is rated as moderate, and for slow hikers, it may take up to two hours to complete. However, I was able to finish it in just 62 minutes. For those who plan to hike Weverton Cliffs, I recommend to wear good hiking shoes and bring water and snacks please.
Alcohol consumption is prohibited in the area, and a sign at the beginning of the trail serves as a reminder. I’ve also added a photo for reference.
Overall, the trail is great and offers stunning views, although it can be a bit rocky. However, it is well-marked, making it easy to follow the trail. Quick reminder to hikers, please keep your pets on a leash for everyone's safety.
Thank you! 🙏

Check out this 3.6 mile loop trail near Potomac, Maryland. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 1-2 to complete. This is a very popular area for hiking, running, and walking, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. dogs are allowed on this trail but must be leashed.

This was my first time checking out Yekta and I have to say it was a great grocery shopping experience at Yekta Supermarket in Rockville MD.
Pretty large parking space, everything is clean and organized, I really enjoyed and recommended to everyone, specially the fact that they have fresh dairy section, very nice selection of Persian & Middle Eastern stuff, it is really amazing!!
Persian cookies are also delicious, I will check their food/Kebab section and update my review.
Overall it was great 😊
