I recently visited Tazzina Café, enticed by its charming name, which translates to “cup” in Italian, expecting a cozy coffeehouse experience. Unfortunately, my visit was anything but pleasant, primarily due to the staff’s behavior and the quality of service provided.
From the moment I attempted to order, the experience took a downturn. Requesting to see the quality of the matcha powder they use was met with laughter from the staff, directly to my face, an encounter that was both shocking and embarrassing. This was not an isolated incident; a similar reaction was received when I inquired about decaf coffee, further exemplifying the staff’s unprofessionalism and lack of courtesy towards customers.
The rudeness did not end there. Despite the café’s name suggesting a warm, sit-down environment, I was served coffee in a takeaway cup, which felt incongruous with the establishment’s aesthetic and name. To add insult to injury, the coffee itself was a disappointment. Overwhelmingly sweet, it tasted as though an excessive amount of sugar had been added, detracting from the quality and enjoyment of the drink.
While the café boasts a visually appealing location and has the potential to offer a delightful experience, the unwelcoming staff and the subpar coffee significantly marred my visit. The essence of a café lies not only in its visual appeal but also in the warmth and friendliness it extends to its patrons, aspects that Tazzina Café severely lacks.
In conclusion, despite Tazzina’s promising ambiance and picturesque setting, the rude service and disappointing coffee quality make it a place I cannot recommend. A café visit should be enjoyable and relaxing, but my experience was far from it. Potential customers might find themselves better served elsewhere, where the hospitality matches the café’s visual charm.

Lovely new spot in al Quoz. Newly opened, very calm and lovely to sit upstairs and watch the barista’s prepare the coffees.
We ordered Matcha with almond milk, which was good. Only downside was that it was not prepared properly which caused the matcha to develop lumps of powder. I’ll happily give a training 😋
And note that there are no dairy free desserts for the people interested. There are some other options on the menu though that are dairy free.

Great food, good choices on the menu and a lovely environment. Very peaceful and great for if you’d like to eat and work. (Wifi and enough sockets available)
Lovely place, the food was very tasty. Only the dairy free options on the menu are very limited. There is a cute concept store as well and the staff is very friendly
Cute location especially outside. Is the weather allows it I would definitely recommend to take a seat out side.
We had katsu chicken, a granola bar and a macha latte.
The food tasted fine.
It is a bit difficult to get a hold of the waiters.
