It was one of the nicest towers I've visited in the EU. 150 wide steps, all uniform construction, too, plus they are completely enclosed.
I like the signs telling you what is in the distance from each section of the lookout area. There's an elevator as well. I imagine maintenance funds come from the cable car fees (which were reasonable) from Karlovy Vary, just behind the famous Grandhotel Pupp.
