They threatened to report me to the authorities just because I sent them a letter asking if they could send me a letter of congratulations for becoming an Eagle Scout. A 17 year old Eagle Scout got hate mail from the Copyright Office.

Beautiful interior and statuary. Has a lower level chapel with many Saint statues and kneelers. (There are free papers next to most statues with either a prayer or biography on the saint). Upper level Church has beautiful frescos. There is a small on your honor gift shop just inside the front door. The building was originally built as the Seamens' Bethel Church. It became a Catholic Church with the wave of Italian immigrants in the late 1800's.
