Clermont Oyster Bar
2024 Feb 28
Everything we had was absolutely delicious. The lady serving us was extremely friendly and helpful since we have never eaten oysters like this before.
When you walk in the place just literally screams, Small Town friendly bar.
The only thing I would warn you about is that it is a little hard to spot the store since the sign is not large and the door is tucked back away from the rest of buildings.
Tanglewood Park
2023 May 23
A truly big rig friendly park with easy access and stable utilities (water, 50 amp and sewer). The sites are nicely deep and wide for those of us with really long rigs.
The park itself is over 1,100 acres. They have reasonably good free Wi-Fi, a bunch of trails to walk (both paved and unpaved), horse back riding, two golf courses, a giant field with an amphitheatre that often has free music and more.
Wow! What a beautiful place and amazingly in this day and age it's free!. There are paths going everywhere so do yourself a favor and download the map of the grounds. Depending on how much you stop and smell (or photograph) the roses you can easily spend multiple hours here or even better pack a lunch and spend the day.
If you enjoy learning and exploring history then this place is for you. Bring a camera because there is a lot to see. The tour guides are very knowledge and after taking you around you are free to walk and explore. Be sure to walk down to the family graveyard where there is no less then 176 people buried.
