One of the oldest hotels in the heart of Istanbul. I was there for a scientific conference and it was top notch.
The venue was big and beautiful and clean, food served was top tier and the organizers and the service in the hotel beyond friendly and helpful. Hotel from the inside is beautiful and stylish. The views from the top of the hotel are one of the best in Istanbul. The location is superb.
10/10 would recommend.

Very cute and atmospheric cinema next to the Deutsches Museum. The movie halls are quite small, but the overall feeling is very nice. They were showing movies in English which is also very nice (I don't like the German dub). I didn't take any food or drinks so I can't really say anything about that. Super nice place to spend a rainy weekend afternoon! :)
Also, definitely buy tickets in advance because the place is FULL :)

Incredible place full of history. Definitely a must-visit when in Istanbul.
Also highly recommend to buy a ticket for the Harem - it's amazing. The corridors and rooms full of beautiful intricate tiles will leave anyone speechless.
The palace is really big so have in mind that you will spend at least 4 hours here. I recommend going in the morning.
Also the museum part and collections of weapons/clocks/jewellery/clothes/etc are impressive.
Views of Istanbul from the palace are also incredible. I'm a bit sad that it was raining when I visited. It would have been so beautiful on a sunny day.
